Horizontal notches and deep circumferential grooves provide immediate water evacuation from beneath the footprint to prevent skidding. The internal structure of the SportContact 6 features matching steel belts supported by a two-ply rayon case. Continental utilizes its elite Aralon 350 hybrid lid ply to strengthen the steel belts and assists in maintaining the shape of the tire during high speed driving for better control and stability.
