ENASAVE 01 A/S
The Dunlop Enasave 01 A/S, which stands for energy saver, is Dunlop’s number one eco-friendly grand touring all weather tire; it was developed as original equipment fitment for the Mitsubishi i MiEV. The Mitsubishi innovative Electric Vehicle city car, was created to be a zero emission all electric car to prevent further city pollution. The Mitsubishi i MiEV was designed with no gas tank, no exhaust system, and no CO2 vehicle emissions, it is a completely electric subcompact vehicle, weighing in at 1500 pounds. In order to match the Mitsubishi i’s super high tech all electric drivetrain, the Dunlop Enasave 01 A/S was designed to combine eco friendly environmental performance, a smooth quiet ride, and all season, year round traction whether dry, wet, or wintry conditions, including in light snow. The Dunlop Enasave 01 A/S features an extremely low rolling resistant tread compound which is then molded into a sharp symmetric design that provides stable uniform footprint pressure to promote all season traction while also reducing tire energy loss. Independent tread and shoulder blocks surrounded by wide circumferential and lateral grooves help to blend dry, and wet, road capabilities, while strategically placed sipes add extra deep biting edges to help promote snow traction. The internal features of the Dunlop Enasave 01 A/S feature twin steel belts which are then reinforced by spirally wrapped polyamide on top of a strong polyester cord casing.

GRANDTREK
Dunlop’s standard highway all season tire for light trucks and sport utility vehicles is the Grandtrek. The Grandtrek has been designed to deliver a comfortable ride, increased noise reduction, and year round traction, even in light snow. Dunlop Grandtrek tires are designed to provide a balance of traits that are appropriate for today’s luxury sport utility vehicles and lavish pickup trucks. The original equipment Grandtrek tires were developed to emphasize the low rolling resistance characteristics that were molded into the tread. This helped to increase vehicle fuel economy above the average fuel efficient tire, and increase the tread wear, and bad weather traction. On the outside the Dunlop Grandtrek tires feature crosscut sipes, wide circumferential grooves, and deep lateral grooves to provide the biting edges that are needed to enhance traction in poor weather conditions. The Dunlop’s all season compound molded into its asymmetric tread design combines independent intermediate middle tread blocks, outside shoulder blocks, and a continuous center rib which work together to help enhance dry traction and tread wear. On the inside a Dimensionally Stable Polyester cord body and bead design promote a comfortable ride, tread wear, and excellent handling with the use of stabilization using twin steel belts.

GRANDTREK AT20
Dunlop’s Highway All-season tire for light trucks and sport utility vehicles is the Grandtrek AT20. The Grandtrek AT20 has been designed to deliver a more comfortable ride, noise reduction, and year round traction, even in light snow. Grandtrek AT20 after-market tires are branded with UTQG Ratings of 500 A B and are designed to provide a balance of traits that are appropriate for today’s luxury sport utility vehicles and lavish pickups. The Dunlop GrandTrek Touring AS tire is a Crossover and Sport Utility all season tire. It was created specifically for use on Crossover Utility Vehicles, Sport utility Vehicles and light duty pickup trucks. They help these vehicles to meet the challenges of the road for everyday driving. Made with Dunlop’s Touch Technology these tires enhance road feedback as well as handling in wet and dry conditions. They are also designed to provide a low noise, comfortable ride with all year traction including in light snow. The tread compound allows the tire to remain pliable in different temperatures. Its asymmetric design allows it to be good for sue in all seasons providing good traction and handling. The outboard tread pattern is stiffer with a notched shoulder which is supported by a circumferential rib. This provides enhanced comfort with stability on the road and good steering response. With independent inbound shoulder blocks and siped central tread blocks the tire provides all season traction as well as braking including in stormy and snowy weather. Internally the tire features twin steel belts that have been reinforced with Joint Less Band or JLB which is a propriety material from Dunlop. This spirally wrapped nylon is found under the tread and it helps to provide strength above the polyester cord body, helping to cushion the ride. These tires come with a flanged lower sidewall to help with the reduction of curb damage on wheels that are more expensive.

SPORT MAXX RT
The Dunlop Sport Maxx RT is the performance tire for summer driving developed for sport coupes, sports cars and high performance sedans. The tires were inspired by Racing Technology and combine sophisticated manufacturing techniques and tire materials to enhance driving precision and road feedback. This summer tire is not intended to be driven in ice, snow or near freezing conditions and are only intended as summer application tires. The Sport Maxx RT uses an adaptive technology that uses polymer compounds and silica-plus tread rubbers that adapt to the road surface which increase road grip and maximize the road contact. The special compound is molded into an asymmetrical design that incorporates large outboard shoulder blocks and notched intermediate ribs to enhance responsiveness and cornering control on dry roads. The continuous center rib and shoulder ribs are separated by wide circumferential grooves to enhance traction and prevent hydroplaning on wet roads. The Dunlop Multi-Radius-Tread Technology effectively distributes the footprint pressure across the tire and redistributes the footprint shape as it moves from straight to curved which leads to more precise driving control. The internal structure is twin steel belted spirally wound cord that provides enhanced ride and high speed durability using Dunlop’s JointLess Band (JLB) Technology.

Features of the SP Sport Maxx GT FFT include a flatter tread outline, which provides a larger contact patch for improved cornering ability. The reinforced sidewall structure reduces horizontal arch during cornering to deliver improved handling. The irregular tread design of the tire provides consistent wet and dry performance. THE DUNLOP SP SPORT MAXX DSST PROVIDES A SPORTY BLEND OF NOISE COMFORT, HANDLING, RIDE QUALITY, AND DRY AND WET TRACTION. THESE TIRES ARE NOT DESIGNED OR INTENDED TO BE DRIVEN IN FREEZING CONDITIONS LIKE ICE AND SNOW. DUNLOP SELF-SUPPORTING TECHNOLOGY (DSST) TIRES SUCH AS THE DUNLOP SP SPORT MAXX DSST INCORPORATE A SPECIAL SIDEWALL REINFORCEMENT THAT WILL SUPPORT THE WEIGHT OF THE VEHICLE EVEN IF THE TIRE IS FLAT.
