The Goodyear Assurance CS Fuel Max is a crossover / SUV touring all season light truck tire. Goodyear developed the Assurance CS Fuel Max for the drivers of crossover, sport utility vehicles and light duty pickup trucks. The CS Fuel Max tires offer long tire treadwear, traction in wet weather, and low rolling resistance. The Assurance CS Fuel Max is designed to provide year round all season traction in dry, wet and winter weather conditions. The Fuel Max Technology sets the CS tire apart by reduced rolling resistance to enhance vehicle fuel economy over the tire's lifetime. The Goodyear Assurance CS Fuel Max uses a fuel efficient tread compound that reduces the energy consumed as the tire rolls. Its tire tread design features inboard and outboard dry tread zones featuring sturdy shoulder blocks to enhance handling in dry conditions. The CS Fuel Max also features a central wet tread zone with dual aquachannel grooves to evacuate water and promote wet weather traction, Goodyear engineered sipes increase the number of biting edges to enhance traction in snow. The tire's reinforced internal structure features twin steel belts for strength on top of a polyester carcass that enhances ride quality.
