About the Goodyear EAGLE F1 SUPERCAR

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tire is a maximum performance summer tire created for drivers of select performance cars. Some of the cars include the Chrysler 300C SRT, the Chevrolet Corvette C-5 Z06 and the Ford GT. These tires are designed to provide a high level of traction and handling on dry roads. Since they’re summer tires they cannot be driven in near freezing temperatures through ice or snow. With its high grip Goodyear AAtrax tread compound molded into a reduced read depth asymmetric tread design the tire has a lot to offer. It features large intermediate tread blocks, large outer shoulder blocks which increase the steering response and the stability of the vehicle when cornering. The center rib is solid and helps to provide and maintain a constant contact with the road which enhances the straight line tracking of the tire. With smaller interior tread and shoulder blocks and wide circumferential grooves the tires design helps water to escape so that wet traction can be maintained and to increase hydroplaning resistance. Internally the tire has twin high tensile steel belts that have been reinforced with Aramid spirally wrapped around. There are also polyester body plies which enhance the high speed and high temperature durability of the tires. The sidewall on the exterior protects the wheels against damage from the curb.
